Quality, Environment and Labour Risk Prevention Policy.
The Board of Directors of FACTORÍAS VULCANO S.A. has decided to develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve an Integrated Management Policy for Quality, Environment and Labour Risk Prevention for the "Design and construction of steel vessels, offshore installation and large metal structures", in accordance with the requirements set by the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, with the following objectives:
- To meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
- To develop all our activities in an environmentally-friendly manner.
- To guarantee the safety and health of people in the workplace.
To achieve these objectives, we commit to:
- Comply with the existing legislation and regulations on quality, environment and occupational health and safety, as well as any other requirement that the company may voluntarily subscribe to with its clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by faithfully fulfilling all contractual obligations, i.e. those relating to delivery times and product quality. In addition, we will be flexible and adapt to our customer’s requirements during the project execution.
- Manage the environmental impact of our activity to ensure the protection of the environment and pollution prevention.
- Prevent injuries and occupational diseases caused by the inherent dangers of our activity by establishing a strict control and monitoring of our performance in terms of safety and health at work.
- Define, maintain and permanently review continuous improvement plans for the Integrated Management Policy to achieve our objectives and goals in terms of Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Ensure that each person working at Factorías Vulcano is aware of their responsibility for properly managing the quality, environment and safety aspects of their work, and that all activities are carried out according to the Integrated Management System.
- Develop training plans with the aim of providing workers with the qualification and awareness required to comply with the provisions of the Policy.
- Promote compliance with all the provisions established by the company in terms of Quality, Environment and Health and Safety among our suppliers, subcontractors and collaborating companies.
- Disseminate this Policy at all levels of the organization and make it available to the general public so as to achieve the highest level of awareness, and regularly update it.
